It is a difficult situation when children ask the question, can I say this lie to teacher for not doing the home work because of some family reason. If you say yes, then it is going to develop guilt in him. He cannot feel confidence. Then child also says, some time everybody says lie. How to define when to say lie and when not. Neil Armstrong is the first person to set his foot in moon. But, do you know who was supposed to be the first person?  Many don't know...His name is Edwin C Aldarin...He was the pilot for the Apollo mission. He was working for the American Airforce. Moreover he had experience of space walking, hence selected as the pilot. Neil Armstrong worked for the American Navy. He was selected for his courage as Co-pilot.  When the Apollo mission landed on moon, they received a command from NASA, "Pilot first". But Aldarin was hesitant, thinking about "What will happen", "will I get sucked in or will I burn out? ". The hesitation was not for hours, but few seconds. In the meantime, NASA sent the next command, "Co-pilot next".  Within next second, Neil Armstrong put his foot on the moon & became part of world history. World history was changed in one second... The trust is derived from the dependability of another person; the dependability is derived from the reliability. The Reliability means consistently performing according to its set standards. Can we apply this for the human beings? Can we expect the consistence performance of any being?   The performance of any person is based on the mind and emotions. Do the mind and emotion are reliable/predictable to themselves? We expect the person to be trustful. When the mind and emotions are not reliable to himself.  How the person can be reliable to others? Then, can the person become trustful to the others is the big question…? No one can be defined as perfect trustful, but some people are obviously more reliable than others to you in those regards. “Let problem comes anywhere and solution comes from me” is a primary requirement of the leadership. Often I see people do not like to be disturbed from the team members for any problems arise at the same time demanding better position in organization and more remuneration than what they deserve. It looks contradictory statements. If they complain so much on the problems arise around them and at the same time cannot claim to be the best leader. If all the solutions are available in your team by themselves. Then what is the use of your leader over there.   Why do you require to be sitting there? If you want to sit as leader you should be prepared to face all the challenges.   Accept all the people come to you with challenges and let the solution generates from you. Trust plays a key role in any sort of relationship. The Trust decides the depth of relationship. Trust is based on two main things Character and Competence . The character is evaluated by Intent and Integrity .  The intent   speaks about Caring , transparency and openness.  Integrity speaks about Honesty , fairness and authenticity The competence is evaluated by capability and Results .  The capability speaks about skill, knowledge and experience. The Results speaks about reputation, credibility and performance. Trust is like a bank account, how you deposit so much you can expect from other relationship. To build the trust we got to work on all the above ingredients and ensure all are balanced always. Only character or the competence can not build the deep relationships. Sometime the struggles’ are exactly what we need in our life. If I look at my past , today what I am is because of the struggle which I went through. It created a confidence in me to think big in   my life.   The difficulties in my life helped to discover myself. I always admire the story of butterfly and cocoon, the boy helped the cocoon to come out but it dies… “ The egg is broken from inside life starts, if it is broken from outside life ends..
