It is a difficult situation when children ask the question, can I say this lie to teacher for not doing the home work because of some family reason. If you say yes, then it is going to develop guilt in him. He cannot feel confidence. Then child also says, some time everybody says lie. How to define when to say lie and when not. It is difficult question to answer the children. Children witness the lies when people practice saying lie for small things like what time you get up, 6.00 am even if they get up 6.30 every day. just to impress for 30 minutes by saying lie. Does it required to say lie and develop guilt within us? Every day my Gym friends discuss about the weight and invariably, they say weight is 70 even it is just a difference 3 kgs more. Just for the 3 kgs to impress we practice a lie. My business friends says, came to office by 9.00 am but actually everyday reaches at 9.30AM.
