3. Redefining Wealth : It's More Than Just Money

"Redefining Wealth: It's More Than Just Money"

In today's world, wealth is often equated with financial riches, but the true essence of wealth extends far beyond our bank accounts. It encompasses the richness of the mind and the spirit. Let's explore the shift in our perception of wealth and its impact on our lives.

A Changing Definition of Wealth: In the past, wealth was associated with knowledge, wisdom, and a comfortable life. However, in the modern era, it's primarily linked to one's financial assets. We've seemingly lost sight of the true meaning of wealth, which encompasses more than just money.

True Wealth Lies Within: Real wealth is not merely measured by the size of one's pocket but by the depth of one's mind. True wealth is about making a positive impact on the world, enriching not only our own lives but also the lives of those around us.

The Pursuit of Money: Today's focus has shifted from emotional fulfillment to the relentless pursuit of money. Education is often driven by the desire to earn more, rather than gaining knowledge for the betterment of society.

Redefining Success: Being a wealthy person is not about buying low and selling high in business. True wealth is found when you give generously without expecting anything in return. It's about making a difference in the lives of others.

Economics and Survival: Economics was meant to provide an organized approach to survival, freeing us to explore higher dimensions of life. However, in our modern society, the focus has once again shifted primarily to survival and the pursuit of material wealth.

The Meaning of Freedom: In a world where economic concerns dominate, true freedom is elusive. When you're burdened with educational loans, car loans, and home loans that stretch into your later years, it limits your choices and opportunities. True freedom means being able to adapt your life to seize new opportunities.

We need to redefine wealth and remember that it's not solely about accumulating money. As the famous quote goes, "You aren't wealthy until you have something money can't buy." The lesson to carry is, True wealth is found in the richness of the mind, the depth of your relationships, and the positive impact you make in the world. Let's shift our focus from mere financial gain to a more holistic understanding of what it means to be truly wealthy.

Today's maturity is different form yesterday's

Arivu  ಅರಿವು … The Maturity at which we deal today is different from the maturity with which we dealt same on yesterday. I was discussing with a good friend of mine for his decision of postponing his marriage even after late 30’s.  He questioned me, what makes difference if it is too late marriage? Suddenly did not have answer to justify. But I believe, the intimacy at innocence age has different experience and feeling than the intimacy after over maturity. Every day pass by, we add an experience. Every time we meet a person we add an experience and get matured. It is foolish to say, I am meeting today with the same maturity had yesterday. Every experience showered gives a maturity in your life. I always say in my beginning of the speech, the person walked inside this room is not the same person when you go back. It adds a new experience in his life and adds a new wisdom on to the person. And it is true the person  gets next level of maturity when...

7.Finding True happiness in life

Finding True Happiness in Life The saying, "It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy," encapsulates a profound truth about the pursuit of happiness. The very essence of life revolves around the pursuit of happiness, and this pursuit is fueled by hope. While the future is uncertain, we live with the hope that it holds something better for us. Consider the paradox of wealth and happiness. Many individuals amass vast fortunes and acquire material possessions beyond measure, yet they find themselves inexplicably unhappy. On the flip side, there are those who possess considerably less in terms of wealth and material goods, yet they radiate joy and contentment. Think back to a time when you yearned for something—perhaps a new car, a bigger house, or a promotion at work. You likely envisioned the happiness it would bring. But when you finally achieved your desired goal, the happiness you experienced may not have been as enduring or intense as you had imagined. Does this mea...

Yoga and meditation for trustful

The trust is derived from the dependability of another person; the dependability is derived from the reliability. The Reliability means consistently performing according to its set standards. Can we apply this for the human beings? Can we expect the consistence performance of any being?   The performance of any person is based on the mind and emotions. Do the mind and emotion are reliable/predictable to themselves? We expect the person to be trustful. When the mind and emotions are not reliable to himself.  How the person can be reliable to others? Then, can the person become trustful to the others is the big question…? No one can be defined as perfect trustful, but some people are obviously more reliable than others to you in those regards. Based on the individual priorities people define the trust and decide who can be more trust or less trust. There is no perfect trust person available. Try and control your mind and emotions as much as po...
