Stay focused is not conservative

People comment as conservative for the person who is more disciplined, principled, dedicated towards his work. Same people say, they have trouble staying focused on the important issues. But what they have not understood is disciplined, dedicated people are focused people.

What is really important part of your work? In general, it’s those activities that help you to reach your goals. The difficulty is that important tasks rarely demand your attention. It is the routine, insignificant issues that scream the loudest.

The more you give your attention to the insignificant demands, the more you out of focused and missing your goal. I learned a valuable lesson about focus, When I was cycling and also once I visited my farm house. To plow a straight furrow, you have to aim at a stationary object on the far side of the field, Keep your eyes on the object; you can easily drive straight to it. If you watch your tractor wheels and the ground immediately ahead, you’ll plow a crooked furrow.

Short range focus creates a zigzag. A long range focus creates a straight furrow. Our life require the long range focus to see success.

Always write down the long range goals, read every day the long range goals. Ask yourself, “ What I am doing right now is helping me to reach my goals?” Eliminate that don’t. Stay focused is not conservative.

Today's maturity is different form yesterday's

Arivu ಅರಿವು … The Maturity at which we deal today is different from the maturity with which we dealt same on yesterday. I was discussing with a good friend of mine for his decision of postponing his marriage even after late 30’s. He questioned me, what makes difference if it is too late marriage? The trust is derived from the dependability of another person; the dependability is derived from the reliability. The Reliability means consistently performing according to its set standards. Can we apply this for the human beings? Can we expect the consistence performance of any being? The performance of any person is based on the mind and emotions.
